New windshield, tires, and brakes...ready and excited to start our next adventure in Baja!
After a whack a doodle morning at the Calexico West border crossing, we crossed the border at Calexico East instead. We got our tourist cards and temporary import permit (10 years! which means we can drive in and out of Mexico as much as we want) for the van, got pesos at an ATM in a grocery store in Mexicali, drove about 3 hours and are now on the beach in our campsite in San Felipe.
We are both pretty tired, as the morning was pretty stressful. It will be remembered comically, soon.
Apparently it's been really windy and yucky weather, so we brought the sun, blue sky, and calm breezes. You're welcome!
